Hi everyone The '2 stop' format appears to have been the correct choice. 3 flights of between 6 & 7 hours. Qatar Airways were excellent with slightly more leg room than malaysian Airways which we used for the last leg - but they were still good. 10 hour stop in Kuala Lumpar - 6 in Airport hotel. (Picture is a view from our room, but nothing woke us!) We were recommended to get our duty-frees at Heathrow as there was no guarantee later on, but Kuala Lumpar had plenty in several shops. Cigarettes were approx £7 / 200, so you'll save cash too. Arrived in Adelaide late morning and straight through Customs without any hassle - very friendly. Weather's great, (only about 28 degrees C), and having a great time from the off. More later....
