Off on some Grampian walks today. The Balconies & Reed Fire look-out, then the Boroka look-out followed by the main walk of the day - the ‘Pinnacle’ It was on this walk that the devestation from the huge fire they had 2 years ago could be seen. The regrowth shows how hardy the plants are, although a lot of the wildlife was killed - including all the koalas in this area, which still haven't returned. Stayed 2nd night at the Brambuk Centre - very good and cheap as well! These cockatoos get fed here - the one on the right got caught in the fire and although his feathers haven't grown back, he's accepted by the others and is still surviving.
